ACMA Blocks 8 Illegal Gambling Websites

975 unlicensed websites now blocked

ACMA Blocks 8 Illegal Gambling Websites that it has added eight more unlicensed online gambling and affiliate marketing websites to its list of sites blocked in the Australian market.

According to the ACMA announcement, the regulator has requested that internet service providers (ISPs) block access to:

  • Dundee Slots
  • Lucky Hunter
  • Lucky Wins
  • Lukki Casino
  • Spin Fever
  • Clubhouse Casino

Following an investigation, the ACMA found that all websites listed are in direct breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 and should not be accessible in the Australian market.

ACMA Blocks 8 Illegal Gambling Websites 975 unlicensed gambling websites. while approximately 221 unlicensed gambling businesses have pulled out of the Australian market since 2017.

According to the latest global gambling statistics, Australia has the highest gambling losses per person at around AU$1850 ($1200/€1210) per year.
