The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has announced that it has added two more unlicensed online gambling websites to its list of sites blocked in the Australian market.

863 websites have been blocked by the ACMA since it first launched its campaign to limit access to illegal gambling websites in November 2019. The ACMA has also stated that since 2017, around 218 unlicensed gambling businesses have also withdrawn from the Australian market.
The ACMA’s latest action follows the recent issuance of a formal warning to Best Bookies’ Price Pty Ltd for running an unlicensed online betting service.
