The Asian Poker Tour (APT) has announced plans for expansion following its sale to a newly formed business entity called APT Events Private Limited.

However, Mann will remain as a consultant for APT throughout the transition period.
Speaking of the change of ownership, Mann said:

Renowned Malaysian poker player Michael Soyza is involved with new owner’s APT Events Private LTD. Soyza said of the deal and Mann’s departure:
“Jeff and Lloyd have done a tremendous job of building the APT to where it is today. All the stakeholders, including myself, have been active participants on the APT for over a decade. We are beyond excited to work with the team and hope to reach new heights as we usher in a new era for the Asian Poker Tour.”
The APT was originally formed in 2008 and recently brought its 12-day APT Philippines event to a close. It will now head to Vietnam for the APT Vietnam Hanoi Loyal 2022.
