At a general meeting held on March 16th, 2022, the Gaming Commission of Belgium, Kansspelcommissie – Commission des jeux de hasard, announced that it has imposed sanctions on the operators of 30 illegal gambling websites.
Full details of the sanctions imposed have yet to be released, but the Commission revealed that fines ranging from €40,000 to €800,000 were issued to the gambling companies in question.
The 30 unlicensed websites in question were immediately added to the Commission’s illegal operator blacklist and are no longer accessible in Belgium.
