Connecticut Sports Betting Finally on Its Way as Mobile Operators Prep for Soft Launch Today

Connecticut sports betting is set for a soft launch today, October 12th, as 750 customers on each of the state’s three licensed mobile sportsbooks will be allowed to place wagers from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The three operators have entered the Connecticut sports betting market thanks to partnership deals with the State Lottery, Mohegan Sun Casino and Foxwoods Casino.

Speaking of the need for a soft launch, Michelle Seagull, commissioner for the state Department of Consumer Protection said:
