The Danish Gambling Authority, Spillemyndigheden, has released its latest gambling data report showing that overall gross gaming revenue (GGR) for 2023 came to DKK 10.3 billion ($1.48/€1.38 billion).

Earlier this month, the regulator released its report on illegal gambling. The report revealed that traffic to illegal gambling websites has dropped significantly. According to data, visits to illegal gambling sites fell from 15.8 million in 2017 to just 1.8 million in 2023, a decrease of 89%.
2023 saw the regulator block 49 illegal websites. Theses included casino and sports betting sites such as stake.com, unislots.com, evospin.com, and mansioncasino.com. The regulator also blocked 13 skin betting websites including csgopositive.me and drop.skin.
