The Danish gambling regulator, Spillemyndigheden, has released its latest quarterly revenue report revealing that gambling revenue during the second quarter increased by 7.4% year-on-year.
Casino revenues grew by 163.4% year-on-year
According to the report, revenues for Q2 came to DKK1.68 billion (€227.2 million), up from DKK1.57bn (€211.1 million) in the previous quarter.

Denmark's Q2 Gambling Revenues Increase Thanks to Reopening of CasinosSports betting revenue also saw a decrease in revenues as operators reported DKK565 million (€75.9 million) in revenue. This was a drop of 14.1% year-on-year.
The report also reveals that 33,648 people had joined the Register of Voluntarily Excluded Players (ROFUS) with 76% of that figure being male.
