The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has sanctioned five land-based casinos for failing to follow social responsibility and anti-money laundering (AML) rules.

The casinos have also agreed to undergo a programme of improvements that covers reviews and updates to their current AML and social responsibility procedures and policies.

In a press release issued on the UKGC website, Richard Watson, Commission Executive Director is quoted as saying:

The investigation carried out by the UKGC found that Clockfair, Shaftesbury Casino, and Double Diamond had failed to identify customers at risk of gambling related harm and have the correct AML procedures in place.
