The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission has released the state’s latest sports betting revenue figures showing that Iowa sportsbooks accepted $210.4 million during the month of September. The latest monthly report reveals that sports betting activity jumped by 94% on August’s handle of $108.4 million.
September’s sports betting activity smashed Iowa’s previous monthly record of $150 million set in January of 2021.

Diamond Jo Dubuque reported an overall sports betting handle of $27.9 million while the Wild Rose Jefferson followed closely behind with a handle of $27.8 million. Wild Rose Clinton was next on the list as its sportsbook accepted $24.9 million in wagers for the month.
