“Based on consultation with our state health officials, I am pleased to announce that I’m very confident every county in the state of Nevada will be able to fully reopen at 100 percent capacity by June 1.”
The governor noted that although businesses would be free to implement their own social distancing measures, a statewide mask mandate will remain in place.
However, despite Gov. Sisolak’s confidence in the full reopening of casinos across the state, the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) have yet to decide on a date for a full return to gaming. Nevada operates legal land-based sportsbetting and casinos – but online betting is not legal in the state.
