MGM Springfield been fined $45,000 by the Investigations and Enforcement Bureau (IEB) of the Massachusetts Gaming Commission (MGC) for allowing people under the age of 21 to gain access to its gaming floor in the casino.
According to the investigation, the MGC discovered that between June 2022 and December 2022 there were numerous occasions when minors were allowed to enter the casino. Not all cases involved the minors actually placing wagers, but the MGC has nevertheless treated each occasion as a separate breach of its licensing conditions.
