DraftKings tightened the gap during July to secure a 28% market share, a significant improvement on June’s market share of 24% against FanDuel’s 33%. BetMGM followed not too far behind with a 22% share of the online market while Barstool came fourth with only 7%.
Retail sports bets amounted to $18.3 million at Detroit’s three commercial sportsbook located in the city’s casinos. This was a 25% drop on June’s handle.
