The NBA 2K League has moved to disqualify six players and a coach from competing in any league games following an investigation that revealed all seven individuals had violated gambling rules.
Christopher Lafanette, Dorian Earl Miller and Robert Nastasi of Blazer5 Gaming, Kimanni Ingram of Jazz Gaming, and Zekirri Dennis of Mavs Gaming were found to have placed bets on NBA 2K League games. Some of the bets were made by other individuals on behalf of the players.
All five players breached betting rules by not disclosing to the league that they had placed wagers. The league also stated that none of the five cooperated with the investigation.
