The Netherlands gambling authority, de Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), has fined online gambling provider Bingoal Nederland €400,000 for advertising its products to young adults.

As a result of the investigation’s findings, the KSA imposed a fine of €400,000 on Bingoal.

Bingoal is the fourth gambling operator to be fined as part of this investigation. The KSA previously fined Betent, Bet365, and JOI Gaming €400,000 each for similar breaches.

Netherlands Gambling Authority Fines Bingoal for Ad Breaches to more than €59.6 million while the KSA’s fines make up almost €9.9 million of that figure. Gambling industry fines in 2022 came to €251,712,034 / $269,532,490 – a significant increase of 443.9% compared to 2021’s total of €44,753,969 / $48,642,992.
