The Netherlands gambling authority, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), has fined Casbit Group NV for offering unlicensed online gambling in the Dutch market.
According to the announcement, the KSA found that the company was offering illegal gambling through its lala.bet website in direct breach of the Remote Gambling Act.
Casbit was previously warned about allowing access to its site from the Netherlands and initially made the site inaccessible to Dutch customers. However, a follow-up check by the KSA revealed that it was still accessible.
