The Nevada Gaming Control Board has released its latest monthly revenue report revealing that the state’s licensed sportsbooks accepted over $1.1 billion in wagers throughout the month of October.

Mobile sports betting was key to this increase accounting for 64% of the total handle.The state’s overall gaming revenue figures topped $1 billion for the eighth consecutive month as operators reported a combined win of $1.22 billion. This was an increase of 48.5% over the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, the Las Vegas Strip reported gaming revenue of $702.1 million for the month. Revenue for the same period in 2019 when casinos were operating at 100% capacity was $538.5 million.
