New Jersey Gambling Revenue up by 10.4% Year-on-Year

The latest monthly revenue report from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has revealed that combined gambling revenues for the month of February came to $412 million.

February’s figures represent an increase of 10.4% on the same reporting period in 2022. However, the figures also mark a 5.6% drop from the $436.8 million reported in the previous month.

Casino win

Land-based casinos reported revenues of $215 million. This was up from the $211.6million reported in January and a 1.2% increase year-on-year.

For the month of February, five of the city’s nine casinos reported increases in casino win year-on-year.

Sports betting

New Jersey sports betting operators reported accepting $847.4 million in wagers. Of that figure $801.4 million came through mobile sportsbooks while retail sportsbooks took in $46 million in wagers. This brings the year-to-date total sports betting handle to $1.9 billion.
