North Carolina’s latest retail sportsbook has opened at the Catawba Two Kings Casino‘s temporary facility operated by the Catawba Nation.
North Carolina Gets Third Retail Sportsbook Just in Time for NFL Season launched in March of 2021. It was previously opened in March of 2021 but closed prior to an official launch which has been delayed several times. North Carolina Gets Third Retail Sportsbook Just in Time for NFL Season one of two companion sports betting bills in June of this year.As it stands, there are now three retail sportsbooks in the state. The two others are operated by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians in Cherokee and Murphy.
Speaking of the launch, Trent Troxel, vice president of the Catawba Nation Gaming Authority, said:
