The Ohio Casino Control Commission has released its latest monthly revenue report revealing that casinos, racinos and sportsbooks combined to generate $254.25 million taxable revenues in November.
Casinos and Racinos
Ohio’s casinos and racinos posted $186.1 million in revenues for the month of November. This was an increase of 1.3% on the $183.6 reported in November 2022 but slightly less than the $187.8 million reported in the previous month.
The state’s four casinos reported combined gaming revenues of $80.4 million, down by just over 4% from the $83.8 million reported in the same period in 2022.

Meanwhile Ohio’s racinos generated $105.7 million in revenues. This was a drop of 3.2% from the $109.2 million reported in November 2022.

- JACK Thistledown Racino – $14.5 million
- Hollywood Mahoning Valley – $12.6 million

Sports Betting in Ohio
Ohio’s licensed online and retail sports betting operators accepted over $864.2 million in wagers during the month of November. This was the second highest total since January 2023 and a 15.8% increase on the previous month’s handle. Of that figure, $841.1 million was placed through online sportsbooks. Since sports betting in Ohio launched in January of 2023, sportsbooks have take in over $6.8 billion in wagers.
DraftKings was the online sports betting market leaders in terms of revenue, generating over $22.5 million in taxable revenues. Its nearest competitor FanDuel generated $20.9 million in revenues. This means that both DraftKings and FanDuel accounted for just over 65% of all taxable revenues in the online market. Total online sports wagering revenues came to $66.7 million for the month of November.
The state’s 15 retail sportsbooks reported taking in $23.1 million in wagers during November, a slight increase of $1 million compared to the previous month. Revenues from the land-based industry came to $1.3 million, down by 45.8% from October.
