Data obtained by Gambling Industry News from The Oregon Lottery has revealed that DraftKings and Scoreboard combined to set an all-time sports betting record for the month of January.

The data covers DraftKings first two months of operation in Oregon following the company’s launch on 18th of January taking over from the Lottery’s Scoreboard app.

Revenue Data in For DraftKings' First Two Weeks of Sports Betting in Oregon. This marked a 27% increase in betting activity from the previous month when Scoreboard’s final full month in operation saw the app accept $33.7 million in wagers.

The Lottery also gave Gambling Industry News a detailed breakdown of each operator’s data for the month revealing that in its last month of operation, the state-run Scoreboard app accepted just over $20.6 million in wagers. Meanwhile DraftKings accepted $22.2 million for the final two weeks of the month.

Scoreboard reported gross gaming revenue (GGR) of $1.14 million following a hold of 5.5% while DraftKings reported GGR of $1.24 million following a hold of 5.6%. This resulted in total GGR of $2.38 million for the month. No state tax details were revealed in the monthly report.
