PayPal has revealed that users in the UK and the United States will be given the option to stop online transactions to and from gambling websites and apps.

The news of PayPal’s UK and US blocking option comes just a few days after payment provider Revolut announced that it would block all credit card payments to gambling websites in the Republic of Ireland. The move came after an investigation discovered that credit cards were being used to fund online gambling accounts through payment providers such as Revolut and PayPal.
