Customers who selected their favorite teams in the ESPN app will see a favorites ticker highlighted across the top of the ESPN BET home screen.
Penn Entertainment Launches Mint Club to Connect ESPN.com, ESPN BET AccountsIn November 2024, PENN Entertainment and ESPN unveiled account linking between ESPN BET and ESPN. Account linking can be accessed either via a prompt within the ESPN BET app or by visiting settings within the latest versions of the ESPN BET or ESPN apps or ESPN.com.
“Bringing this new feature to market is an important step as we work to create a fully interconnected media and betting ecosystem between ESPN and ESPN BET,” said Aaron LaBerge, Chief Technology Officer at PENN Entertainment.
“Account linking allows us to better serve and engage our users by unlocking key personalization and promotional capabilities. This feature is just the beginning of deeper integrations that will further differentiate the ESPN BET experience.”
In addition, PENN Entertainment announced last month that ESPN BET completed its integration process with ESPN Tournament Challenge, a bracket prediction contest that draws millions of participants each year.
ESPN BET users who wager $20 or more on a future bet for a tournament champion earn $10 in bonus bets for each of those teams’ wins, along with a share of $2 million if that team secures the title.
PENN Entertainment also announced that its stand-alone Hollywood Casino app has launched in New Jersey. The new Hollywood Casino platform is available on Android, iOS, and desktop and can also be accessed via the ESPN BET app. Customers can log into the Hollywood Casino site using their ESPN BET credentials.
