The latest figures mark a 66% increase on the previous month’s sports betting activity as operators reported the second highest amount of wagers received in 2021. The highest handle for the calendar year came in January when local gamblers placed over $615.2 million in wagers at both retail and online sportsbooks.

This was an increase of 69% on the previous month. Combined taxable revenue for the month totaled $7,210,551.
