PointsBet has announced that it has been officially approved by the the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) as a licensed sportsbook in Ontario.
The news means that PointsBet is the first online operator to be fully approved for Ontario’s iGaming industry launch set for April 4th 2022.

In related news, PointsBet also announced that its application for an online sports betting license in Wyoming has been approved by the Wyoming Gaming Commission.
