The news means that PointsBet is the first online operator to be fully approved for Ontario’s iGaming industry launch set for April 4th 2022.

According to the AGCO, it expects iGaming in Ontario to generate gross revenues somewhere in the region of $1 billion CAD in the first year alone.
The AGCO has yet to release a full list of approved iGaming and sports betting operators.
