The UK Gambling Commission has revealed that it has suspended the license of online casino operator BGO Entertainment Limited following breaches of the Gambling Act 2005.

As such, these breaches run contrary to BGO’s license conditions and therefore the Commission felt that the operator was unfit to continue offering gambling products and services.

In the announcement, the Commission stated:

The suspension, which takes immediate effect, does not prevent customers of BGO’s gambling brands and websites from accessing their accounts and withdrawing their funds.

BGO relayed the news of their suspension to customers via email and through a statement placed on their websites which read:

Following a notification from the Gambling Commission of Great Britain that BGO Entertainment limited operating licence has been suspended, it is with regret that we have to inform you that UK players are not currently permitted to access any of our services. The notification can be found here.
