Licensed betting operators (LBOs) reported a decrease in GGY to £539 million.

According the latest UK gambling stats and trends the remote gaming sector (online gambling) which now accounts for roughly 40% of gambling revenues generated each year.

UKGC New Commissioners

The Gambling Commission has also announced that the UK Secretary of State has appointed seven Commissioners to the Gambling Commission. The commissioners took up their roles the 11th of September 2023.

Charles Counsell, Helen Dodds, Sheree Howard and Claudia Mortimore have been appointed for terms of five years.

Lloydette Bai-Marrow, Helen Philips and David Rossington have been appointed for terms of four years.
