Ukraine’s committee on Finance, Tax, and Customs Policy has approved a flat 10% tax rate on all forms of gambling.
The news follows the amendment of a gambling tax bill 2713-d first introduced by Committee Chair Oleg Murasyak in August of 2020. The bill was originally introduced to complement the Gambling Act signed into law at that time.
The bill first proposed a 5% GGR tax rate on bookmaking and a 12.5% rate on slot machines while online gaming and lotteries would be subject to a 10% rate.
