The latest figure brings the total amount won by Virginians since January to $2.54 billion from $2.8 billion in wagers since since the launch of sports betting in January of 2021.

Just four of the state’s ten licensed operators posted a positive AGR for the month of November. This resulted in state taxes of $4.2 million setting a new record as the most profitable month for the state since sports betting launched.
