The DC Lottery has revealed that sports betting activity and revenues increased both year-on-year and month-by-month in its latest monthly revenue report.
Washington DC Sports Betting Revenues up by 64.3% in Month of March, local sports fans wagered $18.1 million throughout the month of March. This was a 19.1% increase on the $15.2 million wagered in the same period in 2022. The report also reveals that the latest sports betting handle was a 43.7% jump on the $12.6 million wagered in February of this year.Combined gross gaming revenues (GGR) from Washington sportsbooks came to $2.3 million for the month, an increase of 64.3% from the $1.4 million reported in March 2022 and a 91.7% increase on the $1.2 million reported in February.
