BetMGM Latest Mobile Sports Betting App to Launch in New York

BetMGM has announced that its mobile sports betting app will launch in New York State today, Monday January 17th.

The announcement follows the successful launch of mobile sports betting in the state on Saturday January 8th which saw four operators — Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, FanDuel and Rush Street Interactive — begin accepting wagers online.

“With today’s monumental news, we’ll now be able to fully activate our relationships with MGM Resorts’ Empire City Casino and Madison Square Garden. We look forward to offering customers in New York unique experiences that they can’t access on any other platform. A huge thank you to the New York Gaming Commission as well as to our entire BetMGM team who have worked tirelessly to bring this to fruition.”

The company has also said that it intends to reward select New York-based customers with VIP experiences at the Knicks and Rangers games thanks to its position as an official sports betting partners of Madison Square Garden Arena.

Following its launch in New York, the BetMGM app will now be available in 15 states and jurisdictions including:

• Mississippi
• New Jersey
• Nevada
• New York
• Pennsylvania
• Tennessee
• Virginia
• West Virginia
• Wyoming
