Netherlands Gambling Statistics [Updated ]According to Netherlands Gambling Authority’s (KSA) 2023 Annual Report, Between January 1, 2023, and January 1, 2024, the number of self-excluding customers using the Netherlands Cruks program more than doubled from 30,806 to 60,902.
2023 saw 76,000 people self exclude for a short period of time. Many of these were for a period of less than six months.
Of that figure, 20,000 were automatically removed once their exclusion period came to an end.
A further 26,000 people ended their exclusion period voluntarily.
In 2023, 21.8% of self-excluding gamblers chose the minimum six-month period, down from 35% in 2022.
