The latest revenue report from the Ohio Casino Control Commission has revealed that the state’s casinos and racinos brought in over $192.7 million during the month of October setting a new monthly record for the fifth month in a row.

The latest figures mark an increase of 14% on the same period in 2020 when operators took in $169.1 million during a time when some casinos were operating under limited capacity due to the pandemic. October is also up 22% on the same period in 2019.

The industry also set monthly records in September with $185.3 million, August with $194.3 million, July with $211.2 million, and June with $196.8 million.

Although OH casinos and racinos were closed from mid-March to mid-June in 2020, gambling revenues have steadily increased month-on-month since the industry fully reopened.

MGM Northfield Park posted the highest revenue in the state for the month as Hollywood Columbus following closely behind with revenue of $21.48 million.

All totals posted above are revenues generated by casino games only. Revenues posted by the racinos only include totals from slot machines and video lottery terminals. Racing revenues are reported separately.
