The UK Gambling Commission has announced a new model for the gambling operator licence application process.
New model sees four sub-groups handle various aspects of the process

According to a statement released by the Commission, licensing will no longer operate under the model which required that each operator would have a dedicated account manager assigned by the Commission. This will remove the individual point of contact for each operator.

The newly adopted model will see licensing comprise four sub-groups as follows:

  • The Operating Licence New Group – responsible for processing applications for new licences.
  • The Change of Corporate Control Group – responsible for processing applications relating to changes of ownership and control for existing operators.
  • UK Gambling Commission Announces Changes to Licensing Process
  • The Personal Licence group – responsible for processing all applications relating to personal licences.
